Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps in Guatemala - Q1 2022

In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 navigation and maps applications in Guatemala exhibited diverse trends in downloads, active users, and revenue, as per data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw weekly downloads fluctuate, starting the quarter around 10.7K, dipping mid-quarter to 9K, and then peaking at 13.5K by the end of March. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 240K to 250K throughout the quarter.

Google Earth experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads early in the quarter, rising from 2K to over 4K in January. However, this number tapered off slightly, ending March at approximately 2.8K. Active users mirrored these trends, starting at 18.5K and peaking at 26K mid-January, before stabilizing around 22K-24K.

Google Maps maintained a consistent performance in weekly downloads, starting at 2.3K and rising to almost 3K by the end of March. Active users showed a steady increase from 203K in late December to about 218K by the end of February, maintaining this level through March.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation had a steady rise in weekly downloads, starting at 2K and reaching nearly 2.8K by the end of the quarter. Active users increased from 5.1K to 6.6K over the same period, showing a consistent upward trend.

Lastly, Radar GO-X: HUD, GPS, Maps exhibited fluctuating download numbers, beginning at 1.1K and peaking at 3.1K in the last week of March. Active users also showed growth, starting at 949 and ending the quarter at 2.4K.
